| water will still get soaked through. i tore apart the HKS solenoid and the air goes through the stepper motors. so whatever is in the air will contaminate the motors. these motors are tiny and they appear to damage easily. looking at the greddy, aem, and apexi solenoids, the motor is away from the air and actuates a valve or something. it seems like these solenoids won't be too affected by a little bit of water going in. i may be wrong about this though since i haven't torn them apart.
